LOCATIONS AND FACILITIES

The Farm – 1step2nature will be operated on 4.19 acres of high plains desert located in eastern Colorado’s “golden triangle”. Just outside of a small town called Orchard. We are surrounded by 3 lakes, Jackson Lake, Riverside and Empire Reservoirs and include two state parks Jackson Lake State park and Andrick Ponds State Park.

Greenhouse – This plan includes everything needed to seal up the established earth-ship type building. Owners currently have a building permit to finish this building, including the attached 10′ x 20′ greenhouse and 10′ x 9′ airlock on the south side of building. The view is looking from the airlock to the greenhouse. The floor plan did include three different levels to the floor.

Internet – The Internet is a communication and marketing tool that 1step2nature will use to get exposure to a large number of potential customers.  The Internet will be used to advertise the farm with pictures and maps, take orders online, show product availability, keep in touch with your existing customers, and support other ways of selling, such as CSAs or farmers markets.
